Pomegranate Blueberry Smoothie Recipe

Pomegranate Blueberry Smoothie RecipeHere is a guest post recipe for all of you to enjoy.

Älsa’s vegan-friendly energy mixes offer a flavorful punch to water, juices and smoothies. Setting itself apart from the market’s other energy drinks, Älsa contains a unique blend of Cognizin® citicoline, which is clinically proven to provide enhanced focus and memory function; and PURENERGY®, a patented ingredient that combines caffeine and pTeroPure® pterostilbene for sustained energy. It is also rich in electrolytes for enhanced hydration, and vitamins B and C. For those with additional dietary restrictions, Älsa is naturally sweetened with stevia extract and fructose.

Älsa comes in three natural flavors: Dragon Fruit, Pomegranate Blueberry and Three Citrus. For an example of a delicious way to use Älsa, check out the Pomegranate Blueberry Smoothie recipe below:

Pomegranate Blueberry Smoothie Recipe

1 cup fresh blueberries
1 medium banana, chilled or frozen, peeled and cut into chunks
2 2/3 oz. (1/3 of an 8 oz. bottle) of pomegranate juice, well chilled
1/2 cup coconut milk (1/3 of an 11oz. carton), well chilled
1 packet of Älsa Pomegranate Blueberry Energy Drink Mix
1 cup of crushed ice
Extra fresh blueberries for garnish (optional)

Combine all ingredients, except the extra blueberries for garnishing, in a blender. Cover and blend on high until smooth, scraping down sides of container as necessary. Pour into glasses and top with extra blueberries if desired.

I had never heard of Alsa before I read about it on your blog. This sounds super healthy and something my body sure needs. I love this nice and simple recipe and plan on trying it with my new small drink blender. Thanks for sharing this one and have a nice weekend.

This is the first time I have heard of Alsa and I like that it provides enhanced focus and memory function. I always enjoy smoothies with banana and berries in them.

I have not heard of Alsa’s Energy Drink mixes. It looks like this would be a good way to add flavor and other helpful ingredients. So good that it is naturally sweetened. I would like to try this for breakfast one morning.

I bet this would taste great. Blueberries are one of my favorites, so I’d love to try this one! I just love blueberries.

I would love to try this smoothie – I’d like to have a smoothie every day! I never heard of Älsa Pomegranate Blueberry Energy Drink Mix before, but I want to check it out!

I like that this has a low amount of caffeine (their stats note 43mg). Too much caffeine affects me and I keep it about 50 mg in my drinks, so this packet would be perfect. This is so much healthier than those other high caffeine energy drinks that have been associated with deaths.

I almost always put blueberries in my smoothies but haven’t tried this combination. I like bananas too.

This would be great for my husband…which is helpful since we are always trying to get fruits and veggies in him. He actually found that he likes blueberry pomegranate juice, and he sometimes wants an energy drink to help stay away during the day. I like that this uses fresh blueberries. I’ve never heard of these packets but sounds like they have some good qualities.
