Gourmet Gift Baskets – Easter Gift Giving
We are finally into the month of March and Easter will soon be here. I’m one of those type’s of people who likes to get her holiday shopping done and this year…I’m making it easy on myself for friend & family members who don’t live nearby.
One of my favorite places to shop for gourmet foodie gifts – Gourmet Gift Baskets sent me a complimentary item to review for all of you and wow…this gift basket sure is impressive! I think it would be the perfect gift to send to my grandfather in Arizona and my brother-in-law in Virginia.
For this review I received the Fruit Basket to check out for you guys and let me tell you, it’s fantastic! It’s loaded with delicious goodies and all of it’s packed into this gorgeous, reusable basket! Take a look at everything that you get:
* Fresh Orchard Fruits – Fresh apples and oranges right from the orchard and directly to your door.
* Sea Salt Caramel Sauce by Stonewall Kitchen – 12.25 oz. – A decadently smooth sauce made from a rich blend of fresh cream, sweet butter and caramelized sugar with just the right hint of gourmet sea salt.
* Classic Vermont Sharp Cheddar Cheese by Cabot – 8 oz. – This cheddar is aged 9 months for the perfect balance of complex taste and smooth texture.
* Deli Style Hors D’Oeuvre Crackers by Partners – 4.9 oz. – Deliciously thin artisan deli crackers sprinkled with a hint of sea salt.
* Milk Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels by Sanders – .5 oz. – Gooey caramel is covered in milk chocolate and delicately dusted with salt for the perfect balance of sweet and salty.
* Roasted & Salted Peanuts by J&R Gourmet – 2 oz. – Premium Virginia peanuts that are gently roasted and dusted with a layer of gourmet sea salt.
* Chocolate Covered Cherries by Marich – 2.3 oz. – Sweet dried cherries are enveloped in creamy milk chocolate and then coated with a cherry flavored candy shell.
* Assorted Citrus Slices by Primrose Candy – Hard candies that are flavored just like your favorite citrus fruits.
All of the fresh fruits that we received in our gift basket were ripe and ready to be eaten! They were juicy and flavorful, better quality than what is even in our local grocery stores! The fresh apples, oranges and pears were quickly devoured by the family along with that jar of Sea Salt Caramel sauce that they dipped their sliced apples into. Oh my gosh, that got rave reviews for sure!
Even though they call this a “Fruit Gift Basket” I love that it includes more than just fruit! We got a delicious blog of Cabot cheese, the Sea Salt Caramel Sauce, Milk Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels, Partners Crackers, Roasted & Salted Peanuts, Chocolate Covered Cherries and assorted citrus flavored hard candies.
I love that everything came packaged in this large rectangular shape baskets that I’m currently using in the baby’s room to hold diapers and it looks so nice sitting on the shelf. Yup, it’s a nice sized basket! The satin ribbon bow and gift enclosure card finish it off nicely.
I’ve reviewed a LOT of foodie gift baskets over the past 8 1/2 years that I’ve been blogging and I have to admit…this one is by far my favorite one so far! Everyone loves to get fresh fruit delivered, especially when it includes other gourmet snacks & sweet treats too!
Head on over to GourmetGiftBaskets.com and check out all of their beautiful gourmet gifts! You’ll find gifts for all of the different holidays, birthday, get well, thank you, anniversary, new baby, wedding, sympathy, etc. They have gifts for everyone and for every occasion.
