Animal Planet Hatch ‘Ems Safari Animals

Animal Planet Hatch 'EmsI’m the grandmother to two adorable little grandchildren, the god mother to an 8 year old little boy and I have over 15 nieces & nephews! I love being around children and treasure all of the time I get to spend with them. They are truly blessings from god!

When I go shopping for toys and gifts for the special little ones in my life, I tend to look for toys and games that are educational, but yet fun. In addition, I like it even more when those toys and games are affordable.

Animal Planet Hatch 'ems Eggs

Recently we received a complimentary sample of the Animal Planet Hatch ‘Ems Safari Animals to check out for all of you. Each package comes with 3 Safari Animals which are hidden within the eggs. In addition, each package includes 3 bonus fact cards about each of the animals within the set.

Your kids will have a blast hatching and growing the 3 animals that are in the set. To do it…you simply follow the directions on the package which state that you place each egg into a container of room temperature water. Within 1-2 days, the egg will start cracking. You will have to change out the water a few times and over the next several days, your animal will hatch and grow. Once it is done growing, remove from the water and let it air dry. Your child will now have an animal to go along with the bonus fact cards that are included. How fun is that? Totally fun!

We received a package which contains 3 animals from Series 1. This particular set will grow a Zebra, Cheetah and an Elephant. The Fun Facts Card for each animal include a photo of the animal and a few fun facts about each animal are printed right on the collector’s card. Here is what the Elephant Card says:

Elephant Fun Facts

* Elephants have been hunted to the brink of extinction by hunters who want the ivory from their tusks.

* Elephants actually do not like peanuts and they do not eat them in the wild or in zoos.

* Elephants usually live in a group of 15 animals lead by a head female.

My 6 1/2 year old grand daughter absolutely LOVES these Animal Planet Hatch ‘Ems and is already requesting that I get her some more. She would like to collect them all. She’s had fun watching them hatch and grow in that bowl of water of the course of 4-5 days. Matter of fact, she was like a little babysitter checking on her charges several times every day.

I love educational toys like this and I love that they are on the smaller side but by no means are they mini. I’m going to get her a few more of these and I’m going to pack them when we go on vacation. They will help to occupy her downtime while we are on vacation.
