Spice Things Up with San-J’s Szechuan Sauce

February 19, 2016 by Kristine

San-J Szechuan SauceIf you are bored with the same old recipes and want to spice things up a bit, I have the just the thing for you. I was recently introduced to San-J’s Szechuan Sauce, which is the perfect addition to a variety of recipes. This hot and spicy sauce will definitely add some heat to your kitchen for sure.

San-J International, Inc. has a history that reaches back over 200 years and since that time has been dedicated to creating quality, premium Tamari soy sauce and quality Asian-inspired products for many to enjoy. We surely enjoyed trying out the San-J Szechuan Sauce on some recipes and loved the taste and the nice kick it gave our dishes. This sauce contains a complex combination of gluten-free Tamari, spices, ginger, plum and sesame to give a very nice, balanced heat. If you aren’t familiar with Tamari, this ingredient looks like soy sauce, but is a bit different. The San-J Tamari is naturally brewed with 100% soybeans and no wheat. It has a noticeably richer and smoother taste than regular soy sauce due to higher concentration of soy protein. It is also made with no artificial preservatives or additives.

Szechuan Party Snack Mix Recipe

The Szechuan sauce is perfect for putting a new twist on your favorite chili recipe or of course, stir-fry. We made some Szechuan Green Beans to enjoy with a baked salmon recipe. They came out fantastic with the perfect amount of heat. Also consider making a tasty little treat for parties like Buffalo wings with Szechuan Sauce (we tried that for the big game a few weeks ago) or there is even a recipe for a Szechuan Party Snack Mix Recipe that contains your favorite crispy cereals. There is so much you can do with this product. The possibilities are endless!

The San-J Szechuan Sauce is kosher, certified gluten-free by the Gluten-Free Certification Organization and now verified Non-GMO by the Non-GMO Project. You can find this product at a store near you by using the store locator on the company’s website.

Giveaway: One lucky winner is going to win 3 jars of San-J Sauces! One will be the Szechuan sauce along with 2 random sauces.
