On February 12th, 2016 Warner Bros. Home Entertainment and The LEGO Group released a brand new movie DVD titled: LEGO Friends: Girlz 4 Life. It’s available on blu-ray combo pack, DVD and digital HD. It’s produced by M2 Entertainment. The DVD features the single “Girlz” by L2M and includes the bonus song download “High Tops” by L2M.
Synopsis: In LEGO Friends: Girlz 4 Life, friendships are tested when mega popstar, Livi, comes to Heartlake City. The friends must devise and execute a plan and fast when popstar Livi’s manager steals the girls’ hit song: Girlz. As Livi gains more fame and recognition from the new hit single, the girls try to share the truth behind the song in hopes that Livi will do the right thing. As the friends set their plan into motion, they come to realize that fame doesn’t mean everything and friendship is the most precious thing in the world. Join Olivia, Stephanie, Emma, Mia and Andrea as they learn one of life’s most important lessons while having fun along the way.
My Thoughts: I have a 6 1/2 year old grand daughter and I knew as soon as I saw the trailer for this original movie that she would love it! She loves to listen to music, dance and sing…so this movie is right up her alley. The story line is great because it teaches young girls the importance of friendship and what really makes a friend. These are valuable life lessons that we need to teach to our kids at an early age and having a movie DVD like this really helps!
The music is absolutely fantastic! It’s catchy, upbeat and has great words that have important meaning. I caught the Princess singing along and she completely understood the important story line of the movie and the words used in the songs. She thought the characters were adorable and loved everything about them, including their clothes! LOL
As a grandparent, I think this DVD is absolutely fantastic for little girls and we’re so glad to have this in our video library now. Matter of fact, Princess has watched it from beginning to end at least a dozen times since we received it for this review. It’s a winner!!!

This sounds like a great DVD for girls . I love that the music is so enjoyable with catchy tunes, yet the words and the story line teach important lessons.
So glad your granddaughter liked this one. My copy is in the mail to me, having won it on another blog. I previewed it and loved the tunes and messages it taught. I have mostly DVDs for younger girls so this is a nice addition when babysitting tweens.
