Mailbox Monday – February 1st

Every Monday, we love to share some of the neat things we got in our mailbox the previous week and we encourage all of you to tell us about the special things you got too! These special things can be gifts you received, special greeting cards or giveaways you won on the web! What about all of the freebies that showed up?

Shelly – Last week was a fantastic week for me! I participated in a blogger campaign with a blogger group and found out that I won $500.00. Yes, you read that right! I received it in the form of a Visa e-Gift card and I used it towards our new swimming pool. We bought a $3,000 above ground pool which goes in late April and I still owed $500 on it, so that nice win paid off my account! Super cool.

On top of that…I received a $35.00 Outback Steakhouse gift card and a $25.00 Olive Garden gift card in the regular mail box last week. Looks like hubby and I will be going out for a few “date nights” once the weather clears up and warms up for a bit.

Overall, I’m super pleased to have won that awesome $500 Visa card. Holy guac…I sure was surprised about that one but they loved the work that I did for them and I won their blogger contest. Cool beans!

So, what kind of great things showed up in your mailbox last week? Any cool wins? Freebie samples? Gifts? Now is the time to brag about it!

Congratulations on your big win. I would love to have some big wins too. This week all I received were some Quest bars, Zing samples and coupons and the Early Mornings reading set for little ones.

  2. Wow! Lucky you! 🙂
Last week was a lucky one for me, too. I received two great food prizes: One was a set of Rodelle vanilla baking supplies, and the other was a couple of packages of gourmet rice. Love it!

    • I’m trying to get into eating rice more often. Lately I’ve been gravitating to flavored rices but I definitely need to get on that rice bandwagon even more.

  3. That was a super great week for you. Mine was the opposite unless you count getting my meds in the mail.
