For this review I was treated to the Petite Hearts Gift for Valentine’s Day. This is the perfect foodie gift for those of you who want to spend less than a $20 bill. Not only is it affordable, it’s delicious too!
Each gift contains a bag of 10 Heart-shaped shortbread cookies and arrives in a Shaker-style keepsake box tied with a red ribbon. I absolutely love the size of these made-from-scratch cookies and they really make a statement when you open up the keepsake box.
Inside you’ll find Espresso Chocolate Chip Shortbread Cookies and Chocolate Sea Salt Dessert Bites, all of them are heart-shaped! They look so pretty sitting on my cookie plate that I didn’t want to eat them. Okay, I lied….I was all over them once I had my photos taken!
These cookies are absolutely delicious! I love their unique flavors and they tasted like they were baked earlier that day. If your worried about freshness, don’t be! Every gift that you order comes with a card that gives you the date it was packaged. Mine was packaged on Jan. 27th and I was enjoying them on January 29th. Let’s just say, my mother and I had all 10 of those yummy cookies gone within a day!
