Easy Peach and Mango Smoothie Recipe

Peach Mango Smoothie RecipeI love making smoothies and would estimate that I make at least 4 of them every week. When I make them…I try to stick with in-season fruits which helps to keep my costs down and keeps me from getting bored with the various flavors.

For the past two weeks my hubby and I have been making homemade peach and mango smoothies and just love them! During the summer months I bought several pounds of fresh peaches and mangoes and froze them so that we could enjoy them now (which isn’t in-season here in the northeast). Yup, I always plan ahead!

When I make them…I use whole milk. I have osteoporosis so I try to only use whole milk in my recipes. You can use whatever type of milk that you like to use.

Easy Peach and Mango Smoothie Recipe

1 1/2 cups milk
1 1/2 cups frozen sliced peaches
1 cup frozen sliced mangoes
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup ice cubes

I thaw out my sliced peaches and mangoes in the refrigerator for about 2 hours before I’m ready to make my smoothies. I find that by doing that…they blend-up just a little bit better. If you have a high-powered blender…by all means…use them direct from the freezer.

In my blending container I toss in the milk, sliced peaches, sliced mangoes, honey and the vanilla extract. I blend for about 10-15 seconds. I then toss in 1 cup of ice cubes and blend for another 15 to 20 seconds.  Pour mixture immediately into a glass and enjoy!

  1. This smoothie sounds delicious, I can’t wait to give it a try. Thank you for sharing this recipe.

  2. My lunch today was a fruit smoothie–I just love them. Peach-mango sounds delicious! I love adding a bit of vanilla extract, too, but my secret ingredient is a pinch of salt, which I find brings out the fruit flavors.

This looks and sounds like a delicious smoothie ..It contains all the flavors I love, yet is healthy to drink

  4. But I don’t have them in my freezer so won’t be making it right now. I will when they come in season again. Great combination.

  5. This looks so good and healthy. I think peaches and mangoes are some of the tastiest fruits and a little honey and vanilla would make it perfect.

I love both peaches and mangoes, so…yum. Is it bad that I might put a scoop of ice cream in there & call it a shake, lol.
