We are really fortunate that we have a beach house down in Wildwood New Jersey. We travel down to the Jersey Shore several times every year. On some of these trips we take along the family and have a week long family vacation. It’s great for family bonding time at the beach!
Every time we are down in the Wildwood area we make sure we stop into Cool Scoops which is a retro-style 50’s and 60’s ice cream parlor. They have some of the best ice cream on the entire island!
One of the things that makes this place very cool is their retro Doo Wop decor. Both of the photos I’m featuring today for my “almost” Wordless Wednesday post were taken back in June of 2015. Isn’t that decor awesome?
You can choose to sit in a retro-style antique car table & booth or you can sit at their retro ice parlor bar. We always sit in one of the car booths which the kids really enjoy! This place is really amazing and a lot of fun to visit!
If you ever get to the Stone Harbor, Wildwood or Cape May areas in New Jersey…we highly recommend that you visit the Cool Scoops Ice Cream Parlor! Do you love going out for ice cream? If so, what’s your favorite flavor to get?

This is one of the coolest ice cream parlors that I have ever seen! I definitely want to visit here! If their ice cream is anything like their decor, this is one awesome place!
I love the car! It’d be fun to sit in that and enjoy the ice cream, how often do we get to do that at ice cream parlors? I wonder how they even fit that in there? I know my daughters would love it!
Gosh that looks fun! I can only imagine what it would be like eating ice cream on a hot day right now ha! I love the decor, very unique and it makes it special. I love the whole 50s look, it is fun and funky! Bring back the sun soon!
Those are great car parts they have there. It would be cool even if they didn’t have the great ice cream.
