Chicco Kidfit 2-in-1 Belt Positioning Booster Seat

I’m the proud grandmother to two beautiful grandchildren. My little grandson Prince Jax is 5 months old and my grand daughter Princess Gia is 6 years old. I’m very fortunate that I live only 10 minutes from my grandchildren and spend several days a week with them.

One of the things I needed was a new car seat for Princess Gia. She recently outgrew the one we had for her and needed one that was specifically made for a 6 year old. These days, they call them booster seats. When it comes to car seats and booster seats, I need ones that are easy-to-operate but include all of the safety features that I’m looking for.

The great folks over at Chicco sent me their Kidfit 2-in-1 Belt Positioning Booster Seat to review for all of you. This particular seat is made for children who are at least 4 years of age and one of the things I love about it is the fact that it will grow with your child thanks to the 10 height positions.

High Back – child who weight 30-100 lbs.
Backless – child who weighs 40-110 lbs.

Out of all of the booster seats that I checked out at a local store…this one definitely has more features and all of the features that I wanted. Not only does it have great features, it looks sharp in it’s appearance too!

As a grandmother, I really appreciate that the Chicco Kidfit Booster Seat is light enough for me to move around. I can easily carry it from the house to the car or switch it out from the car and into our truck. I don’t have to call my husband to do that for me. Some car seats are incredibly big & heavy these days and this one is absolutely perfect in it’s weight. Next, I’m not as well-versed on child car seats as I used to be…so I did take time out to read the product manual and to learn about this car seat before we used it. Even if you are well-versed in these things, every product is different and you should ALWAYS read through the manuals and please, take the time out to send in the product registration cards that come with these type of products.

One of the features that I absolutely love about this booster seat is the DuoZone combined head & shoulder side-impact protection with 10 positions for a growing child. Even though my grand daughter is getting older, I still want her protected, especially from side-impact crashes and I love that this seat will grow with her. As she gets taller, we can raise the position of the booster seat.

As soon as Princess Gia got into her new booster seat for the first time…she immediately remarked about how comfortable it was to sit in and she noticed all of the comfortable padding on the contoured seat. Second, she was totally in love with all of the cup holders! She travels with us all of the time and she always has a bottle of water or juice along with her for the ride. Next, I appreciate that the entire cover is machine washable, so that I can always keep her booster seat clean.

Everything about the Chicco Kidfit 2-in-1 Belt-Positioning Booster Seat is quality-made and the company really took the time to think about the overall design & function of it. It’s absolutely the EASIEST car seat that I have ever used with any of my children or grandchildren! Gone are the days of confusing and hard-to-use child car seats and we have Chicco to thank for that!

I can HONESTLY tell you that I love this booster seat! Matter of fact, as soon as Prince Jax grows out of his infant seat, I’ll be turning to Chicco to get him a new car seat too! It’s the easiest car seat that I’ve ever used and it’s extremely well-made! It’s really built to last you until your child grows out of it.
