Another good quote. It reminds us that feelings and memories are more important than “stuff”. As usual I appreciate this review post in order to catch up.
I love your quote of the week. It is so true, and there are several different ways I could interpret what the author may be wanting to convey to her audience. To me I see it as the parent would be able to teach their children how to make do with less, be self sufficient, use their imaginations, be creative, perhaps more so than some one with a lot of material possessions.
Thanks for the Friday updates! Sometimes, somehow, I miss something I wanted to read, that’s right in front of my face. I did really enjoy your review of the Baltimore Zoo – it’s been way too long since I’ve been to the great zoo in my city, The Bronx Zoo, with the adjacent Botanical Gardens. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas/New Year season, and wishing you all the best for 2016 – and beyond!
What a fast week this was hope you had a nice New Year’s Eve. I confess I fell asleep before Midnight I think I am getting old. I still can’t believe it is January 1st 2016! Wow! I am not over the whole whirlwind of all the holidays this year. I really love the quote of the week that is so true in so many ways. Have a great rest of the holiday weekend.
