With the holidays officially behind us, many are focused on the New Year and making resolutions. If taking care of your body a little better is one of yours, I have learned about two great products from a company called Organoderm that will help you give your skin a little extra TLC. This is especially important for me as I am in my 40s and the lines around my eyes are really starting to creep up on me. I’ve been using the Organoderm Younger Eye Gel and my husband has been using the Organoderm Men’s Night Cream because a good skin care regimen isn’t just for the ladies.
The Organoderm Skin Care products were developed by Dr. Edward Jonas Domanskis, a practicing plastic surgeon in Newport Beach, California (which is in my neck of the woods) who has worked on the research and development of these products for over ten years. Organoderm is the first plastic surgeon developed and recommended product group to contain certified organic USDA products and natural bio-active/certified ingredient formulations. The product line is also produced with recyclable components in the product packaging from the company’s own Free Consumer Recycling Program.
As I mentioned, I’ve been using the Organoderm Younger Eye Gel for a few weeks. This product is composed of an effective blend of botanical peptide concentrate which helps decrease fine lines while tightening and reducing puffiness and dark circles. It really works magic on this delicate area of the face and feels so soothing when you put it on. It can’t erase the way I feel after having too many glasses of bubbly and staying up late, but it can make me look like a bright-eyed, well-rested woman…. amazingly!
The Younger Eye Gel uses beech tree buds to improve skin moisture, reduce wrinkles, and improve cell oxygen consumption, which improves cell metabolism and the intracellular energy reserve. Some of the other powerful ingredients in this product include:
• Organic Aloe Leaf Extract: African plant of the Lily family known for its skin soothing, healing, and anti-irritating qualities.
• Organic Chamomile Leaf: Researched herb with anti-irritant, soothing, and anti-oxidant properties.
• Organic Green Tea Extract: Regenerating anti-oxidant which helps fight free radicals from pollution, sunlight, and carbon monoxide, which can damage and prematurely age skin.
This product can be used in the morning and at night and you only need a tiny bit (pea sized application) around the entire eye area from the top where the not so glorious crow’s feet appear to underneath the eye (puffies be gone!). Be sure to cleanse your face before applying the eye cream. The Younger Eye Gel can be purchased on Organoderm website for $30.
My husband has been giving the Organoderm Men’s Night Cream a try and is enjoying the way it makes his skin look and feel. This night cream is formulated with rich nourishing anti-aging ingredients to renew wrinkled and damaged skin. Beech tree bud extracts improve skin moisturization, reduces wrinkles, and improves cell oxygen consumption, which improves cell metabolism. Some of the other key ingredients include:
• Organic Olive Fruit Extract: highly emollient and rich in polyphenols. A natural and powerful anti-oxidant against the harmful effects of UVB sun rays.
• Organic Aloe Leaf Extract: known for its skin soothing, healing, and anti-irritating qualities. It has a lightweight texture and is refreshing on the skin.
• Acmella Oleracea Extract: A plant-based active harvested with a very rapid effect in the reduction of facial wrinkles and skin smoothing.
• Pea Extract/Bamboo Extract and Glucosamine Complex: A fast acting, anti-wrinkle ingredient which increases procollagen synthesis, elastin synthesis, and hyaluronic acid synthesis in the skin. It firms skin and makes deeper wrinkles appear less visible.
The Organoderm Men’s Night Cream can be used in morning and at night, and should be lightly smoothed over face and neck after cleansing. It is available on the company’s website for $48.
Overall, the Organoderm products are clinically proven effective, natural, organic, cruelty-free and free of toxins and are in non-degreadable containers. A win for your skin and a win for the environment sounds like an excellent way to start 2016.

I love the natural organic ingredients in these skin care products. I also appreciate that the company has its own recycling program and the products are USDA organic certified.
Glad to hear some men are trying eye serum. I have used it for a while now swear by it. Guys are notorious for not wearing sunscreen on their face and they really should but the eye serum would also help fight those lines. Love learning about new serums too.
*now & swear by it.
