You know…I’m going to be honest here. I had never thought about cooking my eggs in the microwave until this review. I had always thought that cooking eggs in the microwave would cause them to be rubbery and hard. Well guess what? I was totally wrong about that!
Let me introduce you to Crackin’ Eggs the Microwave Egg Cooker that will cook your eggs in one minute or less! Not only that, you can use it to make poached eggs, scrambled eggs, Pancetta Egg Cups and several other things.
Each of these little cups are BPA-free and you can put them into the dishwasher (top rack) or hand wash them for cleaning. Personally, we hand wash them since nothing seems to stick inside them…5 seconds later and they’re clean as a whistle!
Each cup is made up of 2 pieces that fit together (a top and a bottom). The top piece is clear with 4 small steam-vent holes on the top. I love that we can see inside them to make sure our eggs are done and this top also helps to keep the interior of your microwave oven splat-free.
We do a lot of traveling and are into camping and RV’ing big time. These things take up very little space and they’re great for travelers too. Most of the time we do poached eggs or the scrambled eggs…but hubby has gotten creative and has added crumbled bacon, ground sausage and some herbs/spices to them too.
If you’re stuck for recipe ideas? Don’t be! They come with a little recipe & instructional booklet and you can find recipes on their website too! We are really impressed with the Crackin’ Eggs Microwave Egg Cooker and will definitely be taking them with us in the RV when we go camping next year.

It never occurred to me to try cooking eggs in the microwave, either. Oh boy, this looks so good I want to try it!!! Nice find!
I like the idea this comes with a top to it. I just cook mine in a cup. I usually spray it with a non stick . I usually will use a butter flavor non stick just so it tastes like butter.
Thiss would be handy for RVers and such, I just am lazy and started making them in a cup when hubby wanted his fried and I wanted scrambled.
When my mom was living with us, I often cooked her some scrambled eggs in the microwave, using small custard cups with a vented plastic-wrap cover. She loved them, especially with a little cheese stirred in. Now I sometimes do that for the dog when I have a leftover yolk or something. It’s a pretty convenient way to quickly cook an egg or two, for sure.
This would really make cooking eggs in the microwave so easy to do. I like that you can see the egg though the cover to figure out if it is cooked to your liking.
I have never tried the microwave for eggs either but this gadget sure might make me consider it. What a time saver for a quick healthy breakfast. I also like the idea of such minimal clean up.
It would be great to have something cook my eggs in the microwave. This looks like a nice little cooking tool. Very neat!
I will have to add this to my collection. I have a great microwave cooker for hard boiled eggs (looks like a big egg and holds 4 eggs). It steams the eggs hard boiled so they are perfect and super easy to peel every time (and i only have to rinse it off). I also have a silicone microwave egg cooker for egg sandwiches (but it only cooks them one way – kind of like it’s fried all the way through). I use both of them all the time as i love eggs and hate to cook and do dishes. this will be a great addition, thanks so much.
I haven’t had good luck cooking eggs in the microwave. I like how easy it is to use & clean.
We need this, I think I am going to buy it. We don’t go RV’ing or anything, but last year we lost our cooking gas for 3 months. It was microwave city here, along with a lot of sandwiches and delivered pizza. I made eggs in the microwave then, but just put them in a little bowl and they came out awful. This will perfect for when the gas goes out again.
I would have never thought to use the microwave to cook my eggs. I think this would be wonderful for my boys! They would love to cook some eggs all by themselves!
My daughter showed me about eggs in the microwave a few years ago. I guess, there is a whole egg mug craze, too. She just uses a coffee cup or a bowl. In the bowl she scrambles them and cooks then adds cheese and veggies on half, folding over to be like an omelette. I’ve never tried an egg cooker, but they would be great for camping and traveling.
