Shelly ~ As you all know…my daughter had a little baby boy back in early September. Well, a several weeks ago I entered a giveaway online for a chance to win an Ergo Baby Papoose Winter Coat and guess what? I won! This is a high-end winter coat that is specifically made so that moms can wear their little one’s underneath it and keep them warm. The baby can be worn underneath the front or the back of the coat with a baby carrier. How cools is that? Plus, you would never guess it was a Papoose winter coat when the little one is not with you! A great win since the coat retails for almost $200.00!

That is a great coat you won. congratulations to you and your daughter. I was not aware that they made coats to fit around baby carriers. We receiv d a lot of great items through Shutterfly featuring our new grandsons: a notepad, a calendar a large magnet and 2 mugs, all,with adorable photos of the babies. For Christmas I also received re jarhead Lee heated gloves which I love and a YouCopia stacking shelf. As for samples and coupons I received free Coca Cola 12 pack coupons, a Degree Motion sense dry spray, and Ocean Blue Omega 3, Centrum Vitamints and Everly samples and coupons.
Wow that jacket is a major Score! Congratulations! Let’s see, I didn’t receive any goodies in my mailbox over the past week. I am still hunting down two giveaways that I won last October! Takes all of the fun out of winning when you have to hunt them down! Not to mention when the bloggers don’t return your emails in hopes that you will just go away! That is one thing that I LOVE about your blog, I never have any problems with your giveaways and your sponsors are always super nice to deal with thank you again for that.
That totally sucks Heather. We’ve had a few sponsors over the years that completely stiffed our winner but we do try everything that we can to follow up and to get them to follow through. With that said, I did find a blogger last year that was making her reviews into giveaways and NOT asking or clearing it with the companies first. Wow…that’s not cool for that blogger to do at all b/c it only irks off the winner and the company.

Last week, I received a post-Christmas gift from my out-of-state cousin–a tin of nice tea and a jar of homemade lemon verbena sugar. Lovely. I also received a beautiful cookbook (Food Gift Love by Maggie Batista) that I won. Good week!
