Happy New Year’s Day! Welcome to 2016 and the start of a brand new year! Last year was great for me personally and professionally. It was a memorable year and I’m pretty excited to see what the new year has in store for me!
I wanted to take a few minutes out of my day to wish you all a Happy New Year’s Day and hope that you all enjoy some quality time with your friends and family.
We will be spending the day with my daughter, my son-in-law and both of our grandchildren. We will be pigging out on pork & sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, buttered corn and 3 different fruit pies. Oh yeah, we have seafood & pizza leftover from last night too!
Do you make New Year’s Resolutions? If so, do you typically keep the ones you make or are you like most of us…break them pretty quickly? Do you have any resolutions for 2016 that you hope to keep?
Have a great holiday and we will see you back here again tomorrow. Enjoy the day!

I usually don’t make resolutions. This year we hope to be able to spend more time with our new grandsons. We hope to have a good year for ourselves and our extended family. Happy New Year to all of you too!
I never make resolutions because I know myself and I have to be READY to make changes for them to take — and that doesn’t usually happen on January 1st or any arbitrary date. Might not work for some, but it works for me. I think about changes for awhile and then just get to a point where I say today is the day I start with…..whatever it is…and then I do.
Happy New Year! Well actually 2015 blew so am hoping next year is better. I gave up on resolutions years ago… I dont keep them and get mad at myself for failing. I have told myself to do different things, but thats a daily thing ha!
Hope you have a wonderful 2016
Happy New Year to the Classy Chics! 2015 was not one of my better years – death in the family, broken relationships…..but I am looking forward to a better, happier 2016. No, I don’t make resolutions – it always seems as though I am setting myself up for failure when I do that. I just take each day as it comes – and if I can accomplish something to be proud of, I count myself lucky! (((((HUGS))))
I was reading excerpts from an organizing book last night, so that is the top of my resolution list. I’m committed to toss out or get rid of articles that don’t bring me joy in life. Yep, good luck with all that you say! I always make a fitness resolution and this year is an easy one based on doing squats every day. I already did mine this morning, yay!
