Easy Crescent Roll Sloppy Joes Recipe

January 14, 2016 by Jenelle

Crescent Roll Sloppy Joes RecipeAs a mom of two beautiful children I often don’t have a lot of time to cook. On some evenings, I just have to throw some things together and hope a delicious meal turns out. I do have at admit…that 70% of what I throw together tastes great…but obviously 30% of the time I fail. On those particular nights…delivery sounds good!

Just last week I tossed together some easy crescent roll sloppy joes. You can make a homemade barbecue recipe or you can simply use a can of Manwich. Personally, I just make my own since it only requires a few simple ingredients and only takes 15-20 minutes to make.

Crescent Roll Sloppy Joes

Once you have your sloppy joes made…pop open a can of Pillsbury Crescent Rolls. Unroll the dough and separate. Lay each dough triangle out on your baking sheet and spoon in your fully cooked sloppy joe mixture. Fold the dough over and roll them up.

Place the baking sheet in a preheated 350 degree oven and bake for 8 to 12 minutes or until the dough is done and lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool for 3-4 minutes before serving.

When I make these for my family I often make French fries or tator tots to go along with them. After all, if I got the oven on…I my as well throw something else in there too! Enjoy!

Hmm, I think I’ll try this. Somehow, I never thought of putting sloppy joes in crescent rolls! I’ve used mini hot dogs, ham & cheese, etc., but never sloppy joe fixings! It sounds great.

I love how versatile crescent rolls are. So easy to put a filling in them and make something wonderful.

Great take on sloppy joes. We really like them at our house…both the homemade kind and the manwich kind. We’ve tried a few things with them, but I really like the idea of with crescent rolls. Super easy and with simple ingredients.

I love to make recipes using crescent rolls . They make it so easy to jazz up a recipe whether it is this recipe for sloppy joes or appetizers or pot pies.

I loved reading your post it made me laugh. I so agree with you with the 70%/30% thing. I have never heard of this recipe before and it sounds like one the family would love. I also love that it is so quick to make that is important to me on the weekdays. Thanks for sharing this one and have a great day.
