Chocolate Chip Blonde Brownies Recipe

January 26, 2016 by Shelly

Chocolate Chip Blonde Brownies RecipeI love brownies. All kinds of brownies! I will eat chocolate, pumpkin, blonde or just about any other type of flavor you put in front me. Compared to cookie making…making brownies is so much easier!

Today I’m sharing with all of you my favorite recipe when it comes to baking blonde brownies.

Chocolate Chip Blonde Brownies Recipe

1/2 cup butter, softened
2 large eggs
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

In a medium-sized mixing bowl cream together the softened butter, eggs, brown sugar and vanilla extract until blended. In a separate mixing bowl sift together the all-purpose flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually beat the dry mixture into the wet mixture until all ingredients are blended together. Stir in by hand the semi-sweet chocolate chips.

Spray an 8″ by 8″ baking dish with nonstick cooking spray or lightly grease. Pour batter into the pan using a spoon to even it out. Place baking dish into the oven and bake at 350 degrees F for 17 to 20 minutes or until done. Remove from oven and let cool.

Once they are completely cool cut into squares and store in an airtight container.

Like you I enjoy baking and eating brownies. I have tried several different flavors and find that the blonde brownies are my favorite to have with tea or coffee as an afternoon pick me up.

I usually make chocolate chip cookies for my niece & nephews, but Blondies might be a nice switch. I might try these this weekend.

I can honestly say that I’ve never had a Blondie. This recipe looks so easy that I think my grandson and I will give it a go this weekend. I’m sure we will both love them.

I really have always loved blonde brownies! I dont know why, except they have a lighter taste and arent quite as heavy. I am not hige into chocolate.. I like a little and the blonde browniess arent as chocolatey to me either. I love how you can see the chips. Yours look delicious .

I love easy-to-make bar cookies, brownies, and blondies. And being that there are only two of us in the house, a 9×13 pan is usually too much, so I like recipes like this one that make use of smaller baking pans. Thanks for sharing this recipe–it looks like something quick and easy to put together, but with a big flavor payoff.

A blonde is a great alternative to the traditional brownie. Thank you for sharing this recipe, I can’t wait to give it a try.
