My husband and I get up very early in the morning to get ready for work. Most of the time I’m up around 6 AM and he gets up shortly thereafter. We are both early risers and like to get a head start on our busy day.
We are not your typical breakfast eaters and only eat a big, fully-cooked breakfast during the weekends. During the weekdays, we like something simple, light and healthy!
Several weeks ago my sister (a health nut) gave me her recipe for these delicious & healthy apple and banana breakfast bars. You only need a few ingredients and they are really easy-to-make.
Healthy Apple & Banana Breakfast Bars Recipe
3 mashed bananas
2 cups quick oats
1/2 cup raisins
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/3 cup applesauce
1/4 cup almond milk
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
Mix up all of the above ingredients in a medium-sized mixing bowl until well-blended together. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Pour batter into a small baking dish. Bake for 14 to 16 minutes or until done. Remove from oven and let cool. Cut into bar shapes and store in an airtight container.

(Healthy Apple and Banana Breakfast Bars Recipe) These breakfast bars sound like something that I would like making for my family.
This looke good love to try this i love banans
looks tastey
This is a great recipe. I can make it for my diabetic husband and myself and not feel guilty.
Last week I tried making a batch of baked oatmeal, which was pretty good but kind of dry. I love your recipe–it seems to me that the applesauce and the banana would moisten the bars nicely. And I have lots of home-canned applesauce on hand. I’m definitely going to try this. Thanks!
These look pretty good! I wish I had some right now. I bet they would be great warmed up in the microwave, too.
