Almond Coated Apple Pops Recipe

January 4, 2016 by Shelly

Almond Coated Apple Pops RecipeI love snacking on apples but I do admit…I sometimes get bored with eating just plain apple wedges. Well…boredom no more with this recipe courtesy of the great folks over at the Vitamin Shoppe! We are big apple eaters here at my home and I think even my little 6 year old grand daughter would enjoy these!

The recipe only requires a few ingredients and is really easy to prepare. You can find the Fluffbutter at Vitamin Shoppe stores across the nation. Looks YUMMY good to me!

Almond Coated Apple Pops Recipe

2 medium apples
6 tbsp of D’s Naturals Almond Fluffbutter Chocolate Fudge Cake Batter
¼ cup of crushed almonds

Directions: Scoop out 12 Apple Balls with tablespoon. Gently adda toothpick to each apple. Coat each apple with ½ tbsp. of D’s Naturals Almond Fluffbutter Chocolate Fudge Cake Batter. Dip each coated apple in crushed almonds. Place on a serving tray and serve them immediately.

D’s Naturals Almond Fluffbutter Chocolate Fudge Cake Batter…sounds Wow! What a different recipe! We eat apples, too. My daughter will chop them for oatmeal or dip them in caramel or peanut butter. I haven’t heard of anything like this though. Thanks.

Sounds great to me! My niece & nephews love apples & I bet they would love these. (I would leave the almonds off some of them since my oldest nephew has nut allergies.)

We’re a big fan of apples here too! This will definitely make them more exciting!

This sounds good I love anything remotely associated with almonds! I’ve never heard of D’s Naturals Almond Fluffbutter Chocolate Fudge Cake Batter before, must try this!

I have stevia cocoa syrup and chunky peanut butter that would make a good base for the apples. I like walnuts myself, more than almonds. Fruit and nuts are always a good snack.

D’s Naturals Almond Fluffbutter Chocolate Fudge Cake Batter….that sounds interesting. I love to dip apples in things, so this sounds like I should give it a try. I usually dip them in peanut butter, why not try something new…….and they just opened a Vitamin Shoppe near from my house too.

Would make eating apples fun again. I’d try it using Nutella or peanut butter to make the nuts stick to the apples.

I love eating apple wedges too but I too must admit I get a little bored. I have never heard of this recipe before and now I gotta try it. This sounds so easy and a great recipe for a small party of friends and family. Thanks so much for sharing this one.

These are kind of like a healthier caramel apple. I really like the idea! Thanks for sharing!

These look awesome! I love apples dipped in Nutella, but this is much healthier. I’m always looking for ways to add protein into my daughter’s diet, and the almonds have some. Thanks!

This is a very different and interesting recipe. I think I’ll try it!
