Award-Winning Handcrafted Prairie Organic Vodka

December 25, 2015 by Kristine

Prairie Organic VodkaIt’s the holiday season, which also means it’s the party season! I host a New Year’s party just about every year and I’m always on the lookout for delicious drinks to introduce to my guests. Fortunately for me, I recently received a bottle of vodka from Prairie Organic Spirits, so I’m already planning a few new recipes to break out before the ball drops at midnight!

Prairie Organic Spirits is the number one organic spirit, offering organic vodka, cucumber-flavored organic vodka and organic gin distilled from organic corn grown on family-owned farms on the Midwest prairie. Three family farmers on a Minnesota prairie own the land and each family works in their field up to three times longer than conventional farmers, all to cultivate the nutrient-rich soil and organic corn that will become Prairie spirits. The fields are chemical, herbicide and pesticide free and each bottle of Prairie Organic Spirits takes three years of meticulous work to provide an elevated spirit experience.

The Prairie Organic vodka is handcrafted and made with attention to detail, which you can definitely taste. It is smooth and has a creaminess on the palate, which is really noticeable on the finish. Something that I plan to try for New Year’s Eve is to infuse the vodka with some espresso beans and cinnamon in the bottle. This can then be used to make a White Russian, which is definitely a crowd-pleasing festive cocktail. Check out the Prairie website for more infusion ideas as well as some great recipes.

This vodka has won multiple awards including Food & Wine’s Best New Vodka in 2009 and also received a high score from Wine Enthusiast. Pick of some bottles of Prairie Organic Vodka for your upcoming festivities or even just to have around the house for enjoying at your leisure. You can find this vodka throughout the country by using the Prairie Finder link on the website.

I have never heard of organic vodka sounds amazing. I have also never heard of cucumber flavored vodka before that I have got to try. I do like a martini once in a great while and I would love to try this vodka thanks for sharing this one. I think it would also make a great gift. I have to get some for New Years Eve.

It would be fun to find some recipes to share with friends. I like that by buying it, I can support a small business in the states. Happy to see that it is sold in my area of the country.

Cucmber falvored vodka! Never heard of that! But then, we are pretty much tee-totallers here. But I’m looking for some nice liquor to bring to a friend for New Years Eve. I see at their store locator that it’s sold at a liquor store within walking distance. I am going to buy this, I’m sure she’s never had a cucumber flavored vodka before,
