We all have bookmarks, images and files that we would like to save from the internet. With that said, how do you save them and keep them all organized at your fingertips? Well, I’m going to tell you how!
Let me introduce you to the online site called Clipix which is a 100% free site and platform that you can use! It only takes a few seconds to set up and within minutes you’ll be ready to go! This site was launched in 2012 to help you simplify and organize your online life and has been steadily growing ever since.
One of the features that really impresses me with this site is their security settings. I can set up my Clipix boards so that only I can see them, approved friends can see them or I can set them up so the entire world can view them. It’s totally at my control. Furthermore…I have individual control on the security settings of each of my boards.
So, how does this all work? Well, I’m going to tell you! You simply drag the little clip button to your bookmark’s bar and then click it whenever you see something online and want to revisit it. Everything that you clip will be stored on organized clipboards that you set up and customize. They are stored for as long as you want them stored! You can delete anything that you clipped at any time.
Another way you can save items is to directly upload them from your computer or use an App to save items from your smartphone. They have an App for iPhone and one for Android users.
I love cooking, food, scrapbooking, crafting, paper crafts and coastal beach home decor. I can set up clipboards for each of those things and then clip scrapbook layouts, craft product ideas, home decor design ideas, recipes, party ideas or anything else that strikes my fancy. Then when I want to revisit those ideas again…I can view those particular clipboards and find the things I want to view again…easily!
You can clip just about anything! You can clip ideas from the web, from your email or upload photos from your phone or computer. You can access all of your saved clips from any device, at any time!
You can synch up your boards with family and friends and turn them into group boards too! How cool is that? Totally cool!

This sounds like a wonderful feature to use to organize my online life. this is the first time I have heard about Clipix and I shall look into this site soon, I really like the security features.
It’s good to know that I’m not the only one who feels unorganized online! This thing that was supposed to make life so much easier can make me feel like I’m just scatterbrained. If this can help organize all my online stuff, I say great!
I could definitely see myself using this for recipes and meal planning. I love to search online for ideas but sure don’t want to print it all out. This would give me such a handy way to keep things organized and be able to find what I want quickly.
I don’t know if it’s very similar to Clipix, but I use Pocket to save mostly articles I want to read later. I’ve only organized them according to topic for now, but it’s been helpful when I’m short on time and I just want to bookmark or clip an article or item.
