Paleo and Celiac Friendly Foods

December 26, 2015 by Shelly

Liberated Specialty FoodsEach and every day American spend billions changing their lifestyle for the better and battling to take care of themselves in a world full of additives and hormone filled junk foods. Whether you’re planning to crush your meal resolution in the New Year or simply need inspired into the mood for Spring cleaning (not just for dust bunnies anymore!) you need to check out Liberated Specialty Foods.
All of their products are Paleo and Celiac friendly.

Liberated Specialty Foods

I received several items from Liberated Specialty Foods to sample for all of you.

First…they sent us a 3-pack of Cheesy Pizza Crusts that are made with an almond flour, various herbs and cheese! These are thin crusts and are a personal pan pizza size.

Second, they sent along a jar of their Pizza and Pasta Sauce that is gluten free and part of a paleo diet. It’s a tomato based sauce that is very versatile. You can use it when making pizza, pasta or enjoy it as a bread dipping sauce.

Paleo Personal Pan Pizza

We decided to use these products and make some personal pan pizzas. I lightly brushed each crust with a little bit of olive oil and then topped the crust with their sauce. On top of that, we added a 3-cheese blend (Mozzarella, American and Cheddar) that hubby likes to use. Now…when you look at my photo…yes, the pizzas are well-done but that is how hubby likes his pizza! I have to admit…these thin crust pizzas were delicious!

The company also sent us a bottle of their Ketchup which is gluten free, non-GMO and Paleo diet friendly. It’s made with 100% pure tomatoes, herbs/spices and honey. I admit, I am picky about ketchup so I didn’t try this product as I have a favorite that I’m loyal to. However, my hubby has been enjoying this ketchup with all kinds of things. He puts it on his burgers, french fries, tator tots, etc. Loves it!

The final product that we got to try was a box of the Cheddar Crackers which are gluten free, non-GMO and grain free. There is nothing artificial in these crackers at all and they’re made out of real almonds and grassfed cheese. . What’s really nice about these crackers is that they’re delicious right out of the box or place them on an appetizer tray and serve with some sliced up meats & cheeses (depending on your diet). We really enjoyed snacking on these!

You can visit Liberated Specialty Foods online and check out all of the baked goods, condiments and other foods that they have to offer.

I like welldone thin crust pizza and these look delicious. I also love almond flour and sometimes use it for that reason. I am sure that I would love, the crackers you were sent.

I keep telling myself over and over, that I’m going to go gluten-free or paleo. It’s time to make a move – I feel like I’m 800 years old, and look it, too. I wonder if most, if not all, of my ever-increasing aliments are due to a diet that’s poisening me! As pizza and ketchup both, are a large part of my diet, your review is pretty encouraging! Maybe Liberated Specialty Foods can help me!
