My mother and I are both big hot tea drinkers. We love our tea a variety of different ways…with or without sweeteners and natural flavors added to it.
Recently we received a jar of Premium New Zealand Honey – Happy Valley Wildflower Field Honey to review for all of you. This honey has a fragrant multi-floral flavor and is full of natural goodness collected fresh from the fields in New Zealand. This product is not recommended for children under the age of 1 year.
The honey can be used in hot tea, added to your breakfast cereals and hot oatmeal, drizzled onto toasted bread or used as an ingredient in one of your favorite recipes.
Mom and I have been enjoying the honey as a natural sweetener in our hot tea, in our hot oatmeal and she likes to also add a teaspoon of it into her hot coffee.
One of the things you will notice with this honey is that it has a creamy consistency to it. It’s not a runny liquid like most of the products you find out on the store shelves. The consistency makes it perfect for spreading on your toast, waffles, bagels, etc.
Second…the flavor is “out of this world” delicious! It’s naturally sweet but not overly so! I think it’s just perfect! Finally, it comes in a 500g size jar, so you really get a nice amount that will last you a good long time!
