Celebrating Baby’s First Christmas

December 23, 2015 by Shelly

Baby's First ChristmasIf you’ve been following this blog for the past few months, you will already know that I became a grandmother again back in September 2015. My second grandchild is a little boy that we call Prince Jax and he’s a pure blessing in our lives.

This will be his first Christmas and is now officially 3 1/2 months old. Earlier this month I went out and got him a few little outfits so that he can show off his holiday spirit right along with his big sister.

My daughter got out her camera and snapped several great photos of him so that we can all remember his very 1st Christmas! I think he looks totally adorable!!! You all get to see Princess Gia all of the time here on the blog and I don’t get to spotlight grand-baby #2 as often…so here you go…a beautiful photo of our little Prince Jax!

When your children or grandchildren were babies…did you dress them up and take special photos of them for their first Christmas? Did you do the annual pose with Santa photos that many families do? I would like to hear about it!

Your Baby Grandson Jax is so cute~ He is such a precious looking little Guy!! I am so happy for all of You!! When my children were young we always took Christmas Photos of them. Usually it was with Family members, cousins, aunts, or Grandma & Grandpa! We also went to the stores and took pictures of them sitting on Santas Lap every Year! There were no Malls back then. You usually had to go to the big Dept Stores to find a Santa! Great Memories!!

So sweet. I have a baby grandson also and we celebrated last evening and took lots of pictures. He was dressed in a cute Christmas outfit and got to wear a little elf hat. He is old enough that he is interested in the wrapping paper and tearing it so some cute photos of that. Have a wonderful Christmas with your family.

How adorable, he is a sweetheart! We had a couple of pictures of daughter with Santa, but somhow, they’ve been lost through the years. I know she takes her own little girls now to Santa because I saw a Facebook picture of them on Santa’s lap.

This is a beautiful photo. I too have new grandsons and shall have some photos of,them in their Christmas outfits soon. I almost never dressed my kids in Christmas themed outfits , just in nicer clothing for the holidays.

No kids so no Santa or picture stories. When I was growing up we always did holiday pictures for the Christmas cards. My friend always makes picture ornaments of her grandkids every year.

My baby girl was born in Sept of this year too! We’re so excited for her first Christmas 🙂 My aunt bought her a really cute onesie but it’s 0-3 mo and she’s wearing 3-6 mo clothes so hopefully we can squeeze her into it lol. We tried doing the Santa photo a few years ago with my older daughter and after waiting over an hour in line I decided that’s one tradition we can do without! We’ve already got a bunch of traditions and activities we do for christmas like put up the tree while watching christmas movies, see the live nativity at church followed by looking at neighborhood lights, baking cookies on Christmas eve, etc.
