How was your weekend? Are you ready for Thanksgiving? Do you do the traditional turkey for Thanksgiving or do you go with something else? We do both a small turkey and a glazed ham for the holiday. This year I’m having 11 adult and 2 children as guests for dinner! Are you hosting dinner or going out? Any holiday plans?
We went shopping over the weekend and got all the stuff we need to put together a full Thanksgiving dinner, just for the two of us. Going to be a busy week for me, since I do all the cooking, except the pumpkin pie filling, which my spouse like to do. Looks like a busy week here at TCC, too!
Our week has been nuts. The heater went out we got 12+ inches of snow. I am hanging out trying to stay warm. Going out tomorrow I think to buy the turkey we are serving a community meall but I am still getting a small bird to celebrate.
My weekend was way too fast. I just got back from the grocery store and let me tell you it is crazy out there right now. People are all out and seriously stocking up on everything turkey. We are just staying home and having a nice quiet dinner. I keep hearing that we may or may not get snow so we don’t want to be out on the road. Sounds like you are going to have a full house. I hope you and your families have a wonderful Thanksgiving day. The upcoming week looks like a lot of fun on the blog.
