Since she was a little girl, Amy (Amy Schumer) has been taught that monogamy isn’t realistic. Now a magazine writer, Amy lives by that credo, enjoying an uninhibited life free from stifling, boring romantic commitment. But when she finds herself starting to fall for the subject of a new article she’s writing, a charming and successful sports doctor (Bill Hader), Amy starts to wonder if other grown-ups, including this guy who really seems to like her, might be onto something.
My Thoughts: Trainwreck is a great movie for all of you who get-together with your girlfriends for movie night-ins! While I don’t consider it a “date-night” with your hubby type of movie…it is a funny chic flick for sure!
I invited my mother, my daughter and my best friend over to my home for pizza, wings and cocktails. We all sat down to watch Trainwreck and found it to be incredibly funny! It will have you laughing from beginning to end. What makes this comedy different than most that I’ve seen recently is that it has a good story line to go along with it. One that many women can related to. I love seeing the character Amy have a successful career, great relationship with her girlfriends and now this man has entered her life.
On my popcorn rating scale…I’m giving this one a 7 popcorn buckets out of 10 popcorn buckets. It’s release is just in-time for holiday gifting or for a great movie night with your friends!
