My Thoughts: I’ve been a huge fan of Jason Statham’s work for many years now. I absolutely LOVE his drama and action flicks, since that’s the movie genre that I most prefer. I have to admit, this is the first movie I’ve seen with Melissa McCarthy.
As someone who is NOT a huge comedy fan…I have to admit that I loved this movie! Even if you’re not a comedy fan (like me)…this movie has enough drama and action in it to appease even the die-hard action-movie fans.
McCarthy and Statham has some great chemistry together in this one and both will make you laugh out loud (not once, not twice…but many different times).
The movie is extremely well-acted and the story line is entertaining, funny and does have several action-packed scenes. While it’s NOT in my top 10 favorite movies of all time, I would say it’s in my top 50 and I’m pretty happy to have this flick in my movie collection.
Overall, I give it 9 popcorn buckets out of 10 popcorn buckets on my movie rating scale. This is one that you definitely want to pick up this Fall.

This sounds like a good funny movie with a lot of action no I like all the extra feature that re included. I could definitely use a few laughs right now.

I do love comedy flicks especially for a date night. Nice to laugh and have some fun. I enjoy Melissa McCarthy’s humor very much so know this would be perfect for me.
It didn’t look all that interesting to me when it came out, but I do trust your reviews so no I’ll have to check it out. And I mean that literally: just went to my library site and put it on hold. It will be awhile since I’m 349 in the hold list.
I enjoyed this movie as well. I think that purchasing this movie on DVD or Blu-Ray is definitely a good investment. This would be a nice movie to see more than once.
I saw this movie when it first came out and now I MUST own it! It totally cracked me up. I mean there were a few parts where I was laughing so hard my sides hurt and that never happens. I really like Melissa McCarthy, some of her movies have been duds but I this one is pure Gold! I loved it.
This sounds like such a good movie. I am still waiting to see it. I can’t wait!
