Leslie Sansone Just Walk The Burn to the Beat Walk DVD
I have reviewed many of the Leslie Sansone Just Walk workout dvd’s over the years and what I love the most is that each one is different in some way. There are some of beginner walkers, intermediate and even some advanced walks with HIIT workouts and more.
Today I am pleased to share with you a brand new DVD from Leslie that is a special release. This workout has options for all levels and it gave me a great workout!

Start with the EASY BEAT MILE. This 20-minute, 3 mph walk is the perfect pace to get you started on your fitness journey. Then move to the BRISK BEAT MILE. This 15-minute, 4 mph walk is a pace that is brisk enough to give you a big burn! And finally, try the SUPER BEAT MILE. This 12-minute, 5 mph walk will have you walking— and burning—more like a runner!
We are talking BURN… Calorie Burn… and this workout allows you to choose the right pace for you right now—whether that’s an easy burn, a brisk burn, a super burn or all three in a row!
My Thoughts: I am lucky that I live in a climate that I am able to get out and walk most days, when I can. But there are many days that it is too hot or I just cannot get in a workout until late at night. Or maybe I am traveling and don’t feel comfortable walking in strange neighborhoods. That is why I love using DVD’s to supplement my fitness journey.
The Burn to the Beat Walk offers great music that really gets you going! I love starting out slow with a warm-up walk of a 3.0 mile using Leslie’s traditional moves. You then move into the 2nd mile with a brisker pace where you walk at 4.0 miles per hour. You are definitely power walking at this pace. In this set she adds in a V walk step and a Step Knee for some muscle variation. Love it.
The last mile is a big power walk. This is a 5.0 mile and it will make you sweat! Thrown in the mix are some of the traditional moves along with some jogging, mini squats, punches, jump rope moves and more. The music is techno beat and will keep you moving.
This dvd offers a bonus set of floor work for after a long workout. Calming and easy to do for some nice stretching, core work and relaxing moves.
