For the past 6 years I’ve been buying and/or reviewing various educational toys and games from the company called Learning Resources. This company has been one of my go-to sources for quality made toys that enrich the mind and provide hours upon hours of play-time enjoyment.
When you shop at Learning Resources you will find activity sets & books, construction sets, active learning & play sets, discovery & exploration sets, electronic toys, games, puzzles, water & sand toys and a whole lot more! Everything on their site is extremely well-made and affordable.
I am really excited to be including Learning Resources in our annual holiday gift guide. This will be their 5th year participating! For review I received the Gears! Gears! Gears! Sweet Shop Building Set. This set is for children ages 4 and up.
My little grand daughter owns 2 other Gears! Gears! Gears! Building Sets so we were super excited to get a third. All of these sets will work with one another and really allow your child to get creative with their building skills.
The set includes 82 building pieces! Included are: cupcakes, ice cream cones, lollipops and of course…the gears! Everything is extremely well-made and brightly colored! I love how everything is proportionately sized for little one’s hands.
Once you have built your design or their’s…the lollipops, cupcakes and ice cream cones spin around. You simply place the included handle on any gear to spin the entire set! Your child can personalize the set with the 15 colorful stickers that are included.
As I previously stated…this set will mix & match with other Gears! Gears! Gears! building sets that your child owns. If you’re picking this up for a gift…I suggest getting at least two different sets which will allow your child endless building possibilities! What a great item to give this holiday season!
