Tantalize Your Taste Buds with Torchbearer Sauces

October 21, 2015 by Sara

Torchbearer SaucesExperimentation is a great thing, especially to TorchBearer founders Vid, Ben and Tim. Vid and Ben had a lot of habanero peppers in their garden, and they hated to see them go to waste. So one day they decided to create a habanero preserve. They were pleasantly surprised at how delicious the preserve tasted, so they decided to share with family and friends. Some days later, Vid, Ben and Tim drove from Pennsylvania to Texas back to Pennsylvania (over 72 hours) and picked 666 pounds of habanero peppers. They spent two weeks of chopping, bagging and freezing so they had enough for the winter months.

Armed with temporary labels and their first full batch of sauce, the guys arrived at the Cajun Hot Sauce festival in Louisiana and won three nation awards. Since that festival, TorchBearer Sauces have won many other awards and now have a very successful company selling condiments, hot sauces and tasty recipes to go with them. They’ve also created the world’s first habenaro cheesecake!

Torchbearer Sauces

A Taste of Torchbearer Sauces

Are you looking for a table sauce to use in your favorite recipe? Are you searching for a variety of sauces that suit your taste? Are you ready to add a little spice to your next meal? If you answered ‘YES’ to any of these questions then TorchBearer’s has the perfect hot sauce for you! Torchbearer Sauces combine the perfect blend of carrot, mandarin orange, onion, garlic, habanero, tomatoes and spices to send your taste buds on an amazing ride.

Torchbearer Sauces

The first three sauces available are:

Chipotle Barbeque Sauce: This BBQ sauce has a mix of honey, chipotle peppers and habanero peppers for a taste that is sweet, smoky and spicy all at the same time. This sauce is perfect for: steaks, burgers and ribs.

Honey BBQ Sauce: This BBQ sauce has a mix of honey, brown sugar, molasses and NO high fructose corn syrup. This sauce is perfect for: Bleu cheese and bacon burgers, ribs and chicken tenders.

Pineapple Papaya BBQ: This exotic Pineapple/Papaya BBQ sauce is the perfect topping for burgers and ribs or marinating your favorite meats for a holiday cookout. Enjoy the tropical flavors of the pineapple and papaya as they pair with honey and molasses. This sauce is perfect for: Beef kabobs, spring rolls & dumplings and burgers.

Torchbearer Sauces are available for purchase online through their website (listed above). Bottles range in size from 5 oz. to 12 oz. and cost between $7.99 and $20.00. On their website, each item is shown with their nutritional value, ingredients, and a number of recipes to try.

Torchbearer Sauces

From the Condiment Queen

My family and friends refer to me as the “Condiment Queen”. I cannot eat anything plain and barbeque sauce is, by far, my favorite type of condiment. I put barbeque sauce on almost anything: burgers, steak, pork chops, meat, mashed potatoes, etc. So…imagine my excitement when I had the opportunity to try out a variety of barbeque sauces from Torchbearer sauces? I was like a kid in a candy store; I snatched up the opportunity lickety split! The first set of sauces that I got to try (I received two sets. Second review coming soon) was Honey BBQ, Chipotle BBQ and Pineapple and Papaya BBQ.

I really like how each sauce has its own unique flavor. For my fans who like a kick to their meal, I would recommend the Chipotle BBQ sauce. It was very flavorful, but too hot for my taste buds.Although I used it has a regular sauce for chicken, I think it should best be used as a marinade for steaks. One family dinner night my Dad make chicken on the grill. I decided to open the Chipotle BBQ and the Honey BBQ for my family to try.

Torchbearer Sauces

The crowd favorite…Honey BBQ! I’m really happy with the taste of the sauce and am even more satisfied that there is no high fructose corn syrup in it. Of the three sauces, my favorite is Pineapple & Papaya BBQ. This sauce is absolutely amazing! I love the taste of pineapple and can’t wait to try it on my next burger. It has just the right sweetness without being over-baring, and the sauce is very mild, so it’s appropriate for anyone’s taste buds. Overall, I am very happy with the sauces and you will be too!
