Merino Kids Organic Cotton Sleep Sack

Merino Kids Organic Sleep SackHaving a new baby is a lot of hard work. There are those middle of the night diaper changes & feedings, those cranky colic times of the day and let’s not forget the spit-up that always seems to happen at the most inappropriate time. Being a new mother isn’t easy but it sure is rewarding!

Recently I gave birth to the most adorable little boy. My husband and I are just over-the-moon to have added this precious little baby to our family. Our daughter couldn’t be prouder to finally be a big sister!

The great folks over at Merino Kids sent me one of the Huckleberry Organic Cotton Baby Sleep Bag (sleep sack) for children ages 0 through 2 years. That’s right, this sleep sack will grow with your child!

It features two layers of organic cotton, 100% natural and GOTS-certified. No pesticides or other chemicals used. It will completely replace the need for blankets because your baby can’t slip underneath it or wriggle out and wake uncovered and cold. Baby will definitely rest more comfortable.

The innovative safety belt aperture makes it easy to transfer your sleeping child between a car seat, stroller and nursery to maintain his or her sleep routine. There is a zipper that runs down the one side and across the bottom.  Once you unzip it…it will open up flat for easy access.

One of the things I love about it is that it’s not constricting in it’s construction. Your child can still move their legs around and not feel like they are in a tight cocoon. Second…I can use this sleep bag from birth through the age of 2 years. I’m sure it will be one of Jaxon’s favorites as we use it. Finally, it really launders up nicely. The more we launder it, the softer it gets.

I got a few items just like this one at my baby shower and I have to admit that so far…this one by far is my favorite! It fits him really big right now (he’s a very small baby) but I know he will be even more comfortable in it as he grows.
