October 31, 2015 by Shelly

My husband and I are big smoothie drinkers. We mainly enjoy them in the morning as a quick breakfast but won’t hesitate to enjoy one during the day as a quick & healthy snack. Today, I am sharing with you all a guest post recipe which you can find below. They all look delicious to me!

While the health benefits of a good smoothie are numerous, it is sometimes a struggle to come up with delicious recipes using healthy ingredients. To make things easier for you, Terra’s Kitchen is sharing their top 5 smoothie recipes, packed with nutrients and a whole lot of flavor.

I just found out beets would be good for me to eat. I don’t like them, but I do like bananas. This would be great to try, and a good way to get in some beets. These are really nutritional and fun flavors.

I would like to try the sunrise smoothie because I like the fruit flavors in them. I wish I liked the green smoothies more. I know they are so healthy and good but my taste buds wont cooperate.

I don’t actually have a favorite smoothie right now, but the I like best of yours is the Green Smoothie. I know I am not getting enough fresh greens in my diet and this would be a perfect way to go. I wonder if I could throw a little kale in there, too? I also like that the kiwi and banana balances out the taste!

I love beets but have never thought of combining with banana though. I’m not thrilled with bananas most days. I like mine ripe and by the time they are ready to eat, I may not be. I think it has something to do with the smell. I’ll give it a try maybe with some coconut, which I always love smelling!

Remember to fall back on the time tonight everyone!

When your bananas are ripe…. peel them and cut them into pieces. Freeze 1 banana per bag and label them. Ripe , frozen, ready to go. A friendly tip. 🙂
