Earlier this month I gave birth to my second child, a little boy we’ve named Jaxon. Now that this is my second time around at motherhood, I’m being more particular with the products that I’m using and one thing that has really interested me was swaddling.
Six and a half years ago I had never heard of swaddling nor had any type of experience with it. This time around though…I’ve talked to other moms and did extensive research online to educate myself on it. Basic benefits of swaddling:
* Swaddling is a great way to soothe and calm a fussy baby by giving him a feeling of security, similar to being in the womb.

* Swaddling can help a baby focus on breastfeeding, helping to keep his arms and legs out of the way.
* Swaddling prevents a newborn baby from scratching himself with his nails.
