How many of you enjoy eating birthday cake? What about an ice cream cake? Even better…a no-bake S’mores Ice Cream Cake? Yup, I got your attention now don’t I? Well guess what? I’ve got a great recipe to share with all of you today. Before I do, I wanted to share some fun birthday cake survey results with you from the great folks over at Country Crock.
Did you know that September is the busiest month for Birthdays with September 16th being the busiest day of the entire year for birthdays and party celebrations? Well it is!
Country Crock is helping reduce birthday-cake stress with recipes parents can bake in about an hour or less. What’s even better is that these cakes help create fun memories in the kitchen:
– Rocking Rainbow Popsicle Cake
– Classic Chocolate Layer Cake
– S’Mores Ice Cream Cake
All of these recipes are made with Country Crock, the go-to ingredient for baking. Country Crock, which is considered part of the good fat family and is made with real, simple ingredients including delicious oils, purified water and a pinch of salt.
Recently I had to make a homemade Birthday cake because we were celebrating the birth of my new grandson! He was born on September 5th and we wanted to have some family & friends over to our home to officially celebrate his birthday!
I decided to whip up the Country Crock S’Mores Ice Cream Cake recipe since most of my family members love ice cream cakes and this recipe looked really easy and didn’t require any baking time!
You can find the recipe above. Basically you will need about 10 ingredients and a glass baking dish. It’s put together in layers with a graham cracker crumb bottom layer, a chocolate & mini marshmallow layer, a chocolate ice cream layer and then finished off with some frozen whipped topping & graham cracker crumbs on the top.
Now I do admit…you will want to plan out making this ahead of time. I started in the evening before so that it was ready for serving the following day when my guests arrived. With that said…you could start it early in the morning and have it ready for serving in the later afternoon.
I served this S’mores Ice Cream Cake to our party guests and let me tell you…after 30 minutes…NONE was left. They devoured…plain & simple. It was gone! This cake is absolutely delicious! The perfect combination of ingredients that satisfies your sweet tooth completely. I highly recommend that you try out the S’mores Ice Cream Cake recipe!
