Back in June of this year my husband and I had the pleasure of taking a trip up to Niagara Falls. I had been there two previous times but this was his first time visiting the falls.
We spent 4 days and 3 nights seeing everything that Niagara had to offer. We walked the trails to the top, enjoyed a catered picnic lunch near the falls and even had a boat cruise during one evening which was absolutely beautiful.
Previously I shared a photo from that trip here on the blog and today…I wanted to share another one with all of you as part of the “Almost” Wordless Wednesday feature that we do.
This photo was taken while standing on the American side of the falls. You can see some of the Canadian hotels & resorts in the distance. If you have never visited Niagara Falls…it is definitely something that you should do…at least once in your life!
Have you ever visited the falls? If so, what did you like about your visit? If not…is it on your travel bucket list?

I was there a long time ago. What I remember most is the power of the water and the mist all around. I also remember thinking those people who tried to go over it in a barrel many years ago had to be certifiable to think they would survive (although I think in more recent history one person did maybe?).
great picture!
I think it takes an adrenaline junkie to go over the falls in a barrel. I am definitely too chicken to do stuff like that. I guess I just value my life!
Looks lovely! I haven’t been yet, but I definitely would like to!
I love all these different photos of NiagraFalls and they make me want to go there and see the falls and the park with my husband.
I’ve never been, but always wanted to see the Falls! I’m afraid of heights, so I would be terrified to get as close as you seem to have been to take that photo!
I have never been there but it really is on my travel bucket list!
This is beautiful! I hope to be able to see it one day. It’s on my top 10 places to see.
I have not been there. Would like to go someday but New Zealand is on the top of my travel list.
