Some days just call for a delicious, warm from the oven dessert and there is nothing easier than a crisp. Especially when it is made from all natural ingredients! So fresh and tasty. I can just about taste it right now.

A few days ago, we featured Viki’s Granola in a post and today I am excited to share this awesome recipe for this mixed berry crisp that is easy to make and I bet tastes wonderful! Give it a try.

· 1/3 cup of sugar
· 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

Directions:

· Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
· Lightly butter oven safe ceramic bowl.
· Place topping ingredients into a bowl, working the butter into the granola mixture. Once complete, set aside.
· Place filling ingredients into a large bowl and mix thoroughly.
· Pour the berry mixture into the buttered ceramic bowl.
· Pour granola mixture evenly on top of the berries.
· Bake for 40 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the fruit juices are bubbling.
· Let it rest for 15 minutes before serving.

Serving Size: 4

I love a good fruit crisp for fall. Hot out of the oven with some vanilla ice cream or whipped cream on the side.

Interesting. I make fruit crisps all the time, but I’ve never thought to use granola in the topping. Might have to give it a try! Thanks for sharing the recipe.

That looks great! It would be a great Fall dessert, maybe for Thanksgiving, too.

I love to make crisps especially in the fall. I have never considered using granola for the topping. What a good idea.

I like this a lot, and I want to make it for my mom. She can’t chew well, though – I’m going to make it then put it in a blender. I know that sounds weird, but she’ll get the good flavor and nutrition, and she’ll able to swallow it!

I like this because with frozen berries you can have this year round. In the meantime I’ll use some fresh peaches.

This looks good but I just don’t want to turn on the oven yet. Maybe when it drops closer to the 80s, lol. I’d have the granola straight from the bag now and skip the flour, butter, and sugar calories!

Fresh fruit crisps always taste delicious to me. THis is a recpe that should also be very good. I like the combination of the crunchy granola with softer flour/butter mixture for a nice texture in the topping.
