Keep Skin Smooth and Hydrated with Nourishing Body Lotions

Body Lotion from SpongelleThis past summer my skin has really taken a beating. I spent a lot of time out in the sun this past year which has caused my skin to become extremely dry.  I don’t know if it was the sun exposure itself or the chemicals in our swimming pool but my skin was looking terrible!

A few weeks ago I received a bottle of the Spongette Beyond Cleansing Body Lotion from Spongelle in the French Lavender fragrance to try out for all of you. Usually I stay clear of lavender but was pleasantly surprised that this one I actually liked!

This body lotion contains moisturizing ingredients like Shea Butter, Argan Oil, Macadamia Oil, Avocado Oil and Vitamin E. All of these ingredients are GOOD for your skin…especially if you have dry skin that needs moisturized.

The French Lavender fragrance is sensual and sophisticated, yet very light and airy. There is NOTHING over-powering about this fragrance at all.

To Use: Apply liberally to your skin after bathing or showering for best results. Product can be used daily.

One of the things I really love about this body lotion is it’s consistency. It’s packaged in a pump bottle and has a creamy consistency too it. Not too runny, nor too thick. Second, it doesn’t take forever to absorb into the skin. Once it has absorbed there is no sticky or greasy residue left behind. Your skin feels soft, smooth and is lightly fragranced for hours! Finally, a little bit of this product goes a long way!

I’ve used other Spongelle bath & body products over the years but this was the first time trying one of their body lotions. After 2 weeks of applying it once a day after my shower I noticed remarkable results. The dry patches were almost gone and my skin felt at least 70% softer & smoother than it did before. Wow!

I love lavender scented lotion and it is so important to keep my skin hydrated ,especially now that I am older.

  3. French lavender scent sounds lovely. I think I’ve only used soap with that scent but use lavender oil almost daily. Yep I bet the pool chemicals take their toll on the skin. I like their boxed flower sponges.
