Kyra Davis has become one author that I love to read. Her books are deep and emotional, not just for the characters but for the reader too. I read and reviewed this book a few months ago.

The author is so skilled at writing about emotion, I found myself asking no one… how can someone be this in touch with feelings and emotion and then be able to write it down? She has created an amazing character in Melody aka Mercy. Wise beyond her years, she sees things in people that others do not… including the person she is dealing with. She knows herself so incredibly well too.
Healing from self destructive tendencies, she finds herself craving care and love while wanting to offer it to others as well. The author has brought two totally different men into Melody’s life that have changed her in many ways. One of them is emotionally hurtful and the other is perfect for her, but not today. The author takes you on a trip spanning 13 years of Melody’s life that is emotional, eye opening, sweet, passionate, and insightful. It just wraps you up and sucks you right in…..
