Easy Cucumber Salsa Recipe

September 24, 2015 by Classystaff

End of summer and early fall brings us delicious cucumbers that are full of flavor and so affordable. I love cucumbers and eat them often. They are a wonderful addition to salads and as a side dish.

Tajin is a spice seasoning from Mexico that adds a pop of flavor to fruits and vegetable. Made with chili peppers, lime and sea salt, it changes everything about your dish. This recipe is for an easy to prepare side dish that whips up in a flash and is delicious too!

Easy Cucumber Salsa Recipe

TAJÍN® Cucumber Salsa

2 medium cucumbers – peeled, seeded and chopped into small pieces
1 bunch cilantro – leaves only finely chopped
6 green onions – finely chopped including green top or 1/2 of a purple onion, chopped
1 medium jalapeno – seeded and finely minced
1 tsp sugar
3 tsp Tajín Clásico (or Tajín Clásico low sodium)

Directions:

Combine all ingredients. Serve as a side dish or with tortilla chips. Enjoy!

Thanks to our friends at Tajin for sharing this recipe and image with us. Give it a try.

I’ve never heard of Tajin before, but I like the flavors in it and it would be good in this salsa.

My Mom would really love this! She’s nuts for cucumbers, so I’ll have to try this.

Great recipe! Here in NY, there are ethnic markets on just about every corner, so ever possible spice and ingredient is availbale (especially Hispanic and Indian). Love cucumbers, and what a healthful recipe for very little calories!

I love cilantro and put it in everything. It’s very inexpensive here too. Great salsa recipe.

How neat. You know I have some Tajin, and after finding it disappointing sprinkled on beans I just forgot it, but this is a revelation.
