Comfortable and Stylish Boots for the Entire Family

Blundstone Boots for WomenHow many of you have heard of the company called Blundstone? I had never heard of them until this review. Blundstone is an Australian footwear company that specializes in work & safety boots and casual boots for the entire family, including the kids!

This Australian footwear company is known for manufacturing high-quality elastic-sided boots, gumboots, lace-up safety footwear, heavy industrial footwear, school shoes and men’s casual footwear. Wow…they pretty much have your family covered in the boot department!

For this review I received the “Stout” women’s boots which feature a genuine premium leather upper with navy plaid tartan elastic goring at the sides. This elastic goring allows you to easily slip the boots on and off your feet without having to mess with laces, zippers or buckles.

They feature a Thermo urethane outsole for improved resistance to hydrolysis and microbial attack. There is a steel shank for torsional stability and a removable foot-bed.

I ordered true-to-size and they fit me perfectly so I would not size up unless you plan on wearing super thick socks when wearing them. One of the things I like about them is the rounded toe area. At my age, I don’t do uncomfortable pointy-toes or tapered-toes any more. The toe area with these boots is absolutely perfect if you are looking for comfort.

Second, I appreciate that they have two handy pull-on tabs (front and back) which makes them easy to pull on. Usually you just see boots that have one pull-on tab but these have two!

The premium leather is as smooth as butter and flexible. I would say that it’s a medium-weight leather which will make these boots very durable. The top-stitching is beautifully done and I appreciate that they didn’t go over-the-top with that. Some footwear today has so much top-stitching on them that it distracts from their overall design.

Finally, I LOVE the outsoles on these boots! I’ve worn them on super wet & slick grass, on wet sidewalks, across a wet tiled floor, etc. and not one time did I slide! They are extremely comfortable and fit your feet securely.

You could wear these boots for work or wear them casually like I will be doing. I like to be outside gardening, hiking, doing yard work, etc. and these boots will be worn a lot this season.

    Wow, I could use the Rustic Brown low boot/shoe I see. I would wear those often. And I mean often. Easy to slip on and off. And leather and sturdy is perfect for MN weather! I want a pair of these. They look wide enough too.. I wonder if they are….
