Make a Fashion Statement with the Vivobarefoot Waterloo Rain Boots

August 22, 2015 by Shelly

Waterloo Women's Rain BootsDuring the Spring, Summer and Fall seasons I spend a lot of time outdoors. You can usually find me outside playing in my garden, doing landscaping work, hiking forested trails or just taking leisurely walks along the river. If given the chance…I would rather be outdoors than sitting around inside.

This year it’s been extremely wet here in the northeast. Matter of fact, we have received several inches of rain more than our national average. Due to all of the wet weather we’ve experienced I needed a good pair of women’s rain boots. With that said…most of the styles that I’ve seen out in the retail marketplace have been plain “ugly” and if they were “cute”…they certainly weren’t comfortable.

Well…I’ve finally found the perfect women’s rain boots and they are darn cute & super comfortable to wear! The company that makes these stylish rain boots is called Vivobarefoot and the style is called Waterloo.

Waterloo Women's Rain Boots

These super cute rain boots have a hexagonal tread design and 1.5mm lugs. This will help you to keep your grip while walking around on wet & slick surfaces. One of the things I really like about the boots is that they are super light-weight and very flexible in their design. This means they would be great to travel with!

Inside the boots you will find a really soft fleece lining. This lining will help to keep your feet warm plus it provides some additional comfort if you are wearing them barefoot. If you’ve never tried rubber rain boots…they are fantastic for wet & rainy weather.

Since I do a lot of gardening…I’ve been wearing them into the garden. They keep my feet dry and comfortable. In addition…I love to wear them when I am out running errands on a wet weather day because they look super cute with any outfit that I may be wearing.

If you get them dirty or muddy…just wipe them down with a damp cloth or give them a few sprays from your garden hose. They are really easy to care for and you definitely don’t have to worry about getting them dirty, muddy or super wet! LOVE THEM!!!

I’m amazed at all the designs and colors for rain boots there are now. I’ve noticed recently this growing trend and not just for kids. It’s great the “sensible” well made rain boots can look stylish, too.

I’ve been looking for a pair of rainboots. I like that they’re comfortable. I see that they only have 7.5 and 8.5 sizes. I usually wear a woman’s size 8. Should I go up or down?

I actually sized up a 1/2 size with mine because I wear thick fluffy socks…those soft chenille socks during cold weather days and wanted to wear my thick socks with them.

With all the water main pipes that are breaking here in L.A. lately, I may have to invest in a cute pair of boots like these!
