Scent Your Home and Body: The Sitota Collection Body Candle

August 5, 2015 by Classystaff

It is not often that I purchase anything that is a luxurious treat to myself, especially when it comes to skin care. I have rough, dry skin, and usually things I’ll try tend to be on the clinical strength side of things. Typically with that, it tends to be a clinical strength type of smell from those types of lotions. I must admit that I have never before heard of a body candle, so when I was sent one for review from The Sitota Collection, I was very intrigued to try one.

Scent Your Home and Body: The Sitota Collection Body Candle

The Body Candle is made from 100% natural coconut oil, shea butter, soy oil, jojoba essential oil, vitamin E and aloe vera; all offering excellent benefits for the skin. As the body candle burns, the essential oil infused wax melts into a body oil. How marvelous! These are for ultimate hydration, designed to soften skin and soothe dry patches. This is perfect for me since it is exactly what my skin needs. It is suggested to light the candle before jumping in the shower or bath then spread all over the skin with the warm oil to receive the sumptuous hydration.

The Sitota Collection currently includes four stunning fragrances: Blue Nile, Havana, Coco Noir, and Aigyptos.

* Blue Nile embraces earthy rich bamboo with wild grasses, red grapefruit and citrus notes.

* Havana highlights tobacco, leather, amber and musk and notes of teakwood, pepper and black tea.

* Coco Noir combines creamy coconut with tantalizing cassis.

* Aigyptos mixes amber, sandalwood, musk and vanilla, and is balanced by jasmine, lavender and orange.

Scent Your Home and Body: The Sitota Collection Body Candle

I was so fortunate to be sent the new Aigyptos scent, and I absolutely love it! It is so decadent, just one trace of the aroma and I am in heaven! I can imagine myself on vacation in gorgeous scenery around me. The body candle was exactly what my dry rough skin needed!

The warmth of the oil just made my skin melt, but in a good way. The soft creaminess of the oil just infused into the dry skin. It smoothed right over as if it renewed that rough spot! Never before have I experienced such a deluxe body oil before, the softness and gentle moisture has stayed on my skin for several days now, and after several showers.

The Sitota Collection Body Candle, which are handcrafted and hand poured, may seem indulgent. Although, in seeing how big the candles are, as well as their burn time (around 50+ hours), not to forget their amazingly wonderful scents, and the skin improvement results achieved, they are well worth it for a lovely scented home and body. A fabulous treat!

This Body Candle is a perfect gift, whether it is to yourself, or someone you care about, because everyone deserves the finer things in life.

What first began in my kitchen, blossomed into existence from an idea my six year old son had one day. “Mama,” he said as I was making up a batch of my hand poured candles. “We should have a manufacturing plant and have stores in every country that sell our candles.” From his lips to God’s ears, The Sitota Collection was born.
