We talk a lot about natural care products on our blog. After all, we are moms and grandmothers that care about what we put into and on our bodies and our loved ones bodies too. This care and concern extends into the home care and cleaning products we use too. Whenever I can get a product that is based on natural ingredients, I am all for it.
I was asked to review a couple of new products from a company that offers premium natural cleaning products that are safe for us and for the Planet. Pure Care Home has a line of all-purpose cleaners, glass cleaner, bathroom cleaner, dish soap, and laundry detergents, with several fragrances to choose from. I was sent their new dish washing soap and a cool long handled duster to check out.
I have tried many dishwashing soaps that are all natural because it weirds me out knowing I am using chemicals on my plates, utensils, and pots and pans. I have to rinse a lot with super hot water to make sure that they are clean of soap residue. The problem with some of the natural products that I have used in the past is that 1) Some are expensive to use. You end up using a lot of product to clean a greasy pot and 2) Some just don’t clean very well. So when I got the new soap from Pure Care Home, I was curious to see what I would end up with.
Pure Care offers a 100% Natural Non-toxic Liquid Dish Soap that is hypoallergenic, septic safe and made with USDA organic soap berry / soap nut extract with added aloe vera. It comes in a 16oz bottle. The scent is from essential orange oil and smells great.
The product did a great job cleaning my dishes, which thrilled me. There is not a lot of bubbles, which is typical for a natural product, and when it came to greasy dishes and pans, it did a fine job as well. I did not find myself adding gobs more to the water to clean. It makes your hands feel great too! Clearly a winner for me!
I was also sent the Pure Care Microfiber Duster with Extension Pole. I was very excited about this item as I have high ceilings and 4 ceiling fans in my home. This duster is offers a flexible, bendable, washable, lint free, hypoallergenic large microfiber head along with a lightweight Telescopic Pole that is about 18″ long but telescopes to reach 64″. Perfect for the fans and corners in the rooms I cannot normally reach easily.
This is a breeze to use. The head picked up dust and dirt in a flash. I love that the head is removeable and washable. That is a huge money saver over throwaway cloths. Plus the larger head makes cleaning quicker as I am not a happy cleaner! I love that the handle is super sturdy but lightweight too. It is easy to extend and retract and you can bend the head to wrap around fan blades or easier cleaning. This will get a workout in my home for sure!
