I have very odd issues with my hair. My scalp and roots can get very greasy very quickly. Then the lower ends of my hair are extremely dry and rough. This is why when I try a new shampoo and conditioner to resolve the greasiness of my hair, the dry part gets even more dry. Then when I try to use a moisturizing shampoo/conditioner, the dry part gets softer and retains the moisture, but my roots end up getting extremely greasy. I keep searching for the right hair care, so I was ecstatic to receive several products from Maple Holistics for review.
I was sent their Degrease Moisture Control shampoo and Argan conditioner. Just a small amount of the shampoo massaged into my scalp, I could already feel the soothing relief. It also had a wonderful fragrance. I could smell the different scents of herbs but the lemon was most prominent. Then, with the Argan conditioner, I massaged the moisture onto my dry ends and let it soak for a minute or two before rinsing.
My hair ended up voluminous for most of the day and night for me, since it didn’t get greasy, it didn’t fall flat. It also seemed to smooth out my dry ends as well, which allowed me to avoid frizz controlling chemical hair products. I have avoided any heat hair tools like the blow dryer and curlers for a while to get best results for my hair as well.
