Today I have a bit of a strange item for my frugal find! I love shopping at the Farmers Markets and on Saturdays, I hit up two different ones. There is one in town to the south of me and one in the town north of me. This past week I made sure to go early because the grape farmer was going to be there and we love grapes.
It is great living where I do in California. We have so many different types of fruits and produce available to us. The grapes are so amazingly sweet, I just could not get enough. What was even better, is that they were only $1.20 per pound! That is unheard of! So I made sure to grab a bunch!
This is a combination of Thompson Seedless, Red Flame Seedless, and one called Summer Delight, aka Delight. So good! I blended some, frozen some, and just enjoyed munching on some too. Thi was just one of my frugal finds from the market and worth the trip!

I haven’t had the time to travel to,a farmer’s market lately. Your grapes look delicious. I found some nice peaches on sale at a local store and bought a lot to eat , freeze and make peach pie.
I love going to our local farmers market. I found some nice deals on peaches and green beans this week. So much tastier than what we find in the supermarket.
Oh, those grapes are gorgeous! I envy you your access to farmer’s markets. Around here, the farmer’s markets are few and far between, and the prices are shockingly high. I’ve given up even going these days. And I can’t find any roadside stands, either. I really miss access to good, affordable, local produce.
I’m more of a veggie than a fruit person, but we have inexpensive produce here in California also, so I again bought my 5 pounds of carrots for 99 cents at the international market (within walking distance of my place) I have 10 pounds of carrots now so may juice them–yum.
Yummy! Enjoy them all. Farmer’s Markets are great! We’ve had a really wet summer so the crop hasn’t been as good for many items so we haven’t seen as many sales as normal, but we did just have a nice sale on peaches that were local. Tasted wonderful and juicy. Hope you enjoy the grapes and have many more finds.
I went to the Farmer’s market this morning and got a bunch of Palisade Peaches. I ate one in the parking lot and was glad I had wet wipes to clean myself up. So good.
I am on a green grape kick recently and just can not get enough of them. I think I paid $1.78 per pound at the store and then I have to really wash them I also don’t like really knowing where they came from. I am going to check out our local farmers market to see how much they care there thanks for sharing this is a great idea.
