Help for Limp, Flat Hair

As a larger woman, the one thing that I actually have thin is, unfortunately, my hair. It is pretty limp, flat, and dull. I also have frizzy and split ends because I tend to overheat my hair by either straightening, curling, or regularly blow drying it. I was thrilled to have been sent the Amplifying Creme from FAT Hair for review.

Lately, all I really do to my hair after a shower is blow dry and comb through. It stays flat around the top of my head all day. My hair also straightens out and loses any natural curl or waves, other than a very slight curve. I was sent a 5.25oz bottle of FAT Hair Amplifying Creme. It has a great fragrance and does not leave a greasy residue on the hands or hair.

All I had to do was shower, towel dry my hair, put a small amount of the creme into my palms, and spread it evenly from root to ends. To maximize the volume, I also blow dried my hair. (The Amplifying Creme can also be used to liven up dry hair as well!)

I used the Advanced Repair Amplifying Creme and just in one use, I could see a noticeable difference. My fair got so big! I loved it! It was much shiner, a little less frizzy on the lower ends, but it makes my hair look thicker and very voluminous. There’s a texture to the creme so I noticed my natural waves came out a little more. It stayed for several hours without adding more product such as hair spray.

FAT Hair also has other products available, such as their Amplifying Hair Spray, Shampoo, Conditioner, Root Lifter, and more! There are even some great hairstyles online and the ways to achieve them with the FAT Hair products.

FAT Hair has several ingredients that helped achieve my larger hairdo: taurine, avocado, and inositol.

Taurine repairs damaged hair, adds volume.

Avocado provides moisture and shine to dry hair.

Inositol provides smoothness and elasticity.

I’m all about big hair. I’m sure I should have lived through the 80s, with my thoughts of ‘the closer your hair is to the sky, the better’. I got my fat hair, and with zero the calories!

    I want to try the Amplifying Shampoo. Not only does it add volume, it also restores and repairs damage. I highlight my hair and that is really rough. It leaves my hair dry and lacking shine. I would love to have volume and shine.

    I have such thin hair, it never EVER looks remotely good, unless I get a body wave. Only then will anything I do to it stay in. Otherwise I just look like a scraggly haired waif or something. I would like to try the mousse. I use a mousse before blow drying sometimes, to add body.

    i think i’d start with the root lifter, then try the shampoo, conditioner and mousse. i need all the amplification i can get.
