A pressure cooker is great for quick and easy weeknight summer meals and side dishes – Think: beans, pulled pork, potato salads, veggie risotto, and more. And it will be perfect when fall rolls around, as it is perfect for making dishes like pot roast and stew.

I received one of the new T-fal Clipso Pressure Cookers for review last week and already…I am in-love with it! This one pot does your entire meal or almost your entire meal in a LOT less time than you using your oven or slow cooker. I was really impressed with how it cuts down on prep and cooking time for sure!
I read through the included booklet and leafed through the recipes. If you are new to using a pressure cooker…make sure you read all instructions and familiarize yourself with how a pressure cooker works. I also suggest that you start off with a really simple recipe until you get used to cooking with it.
A few nights ago I decided to use one of the recipes in their included book but with my own twists to it. You only need a handful of ingredients to make Salmon Steaks and Veggies in a pressure cooker and you do them in less than 8 minutes in prepared foil packets. Once you have your foil packets prepared you place them into the pressure cooker with 3/4 cup of water. Close it up, wait for the first steam to release, reduce heat and time 5-8 minutes. Once done, release the pressure, open it up, dump the goodies out of the foil packet and dinner is done! Yup, it really is that quick and easy!
From start to finish (including prep time and cook time) dinner was on the table in less than 15 minutes! Our salmon steaks were very moist and flavorful. They were perfectly cooked along with our carrots and onions. Delicious!!!! The recipe made dinner for 4 people and all in one cooking pot!
You can use the T-fal Clipso Pressure Cooker to make entire meals, soups, stews or use it to just steam up your vegetables super fast. It’s the perfect kitchen tool for busy moms & wives like myself and with it being the middle of summer…you can get in and out of the kitchen super fast. LOVE IT!!!
