The Princess and Her First Lemonade Stand

July 7, 2015 by Shelly

homemade lemonade standEvery 2 weeks I look forward to my turn here on the blog to feature another “Almost” Wordless Wednesday photo. This week it’s my turn again and I am featuring one of the Grand-Princess.

A few weeks ago her mother had a yard sale over at their home. Hubby and I went over to help them out and while we were there…the Princess set up her very first lemonade stand! Yup, this was the first time she ever got to do something like this and was pretty excited about it!

I can remember our daughter doing Kool-Aid, Iced Tea and Lemonade stands when she was a little girl, so this brought back all of those fond memories for us!

The Princess did pretty good with her First Lemonade Stand and made about $15.00 that day. We were really proud of her and she was the “hit” of the neighborhood that day.

Did you ever do things like this when you were little? What about your kids? I would love to hear all about it!

Your granddaughter did great. She was much better prepared with her drink dispenser than when,y kids tried to do this. They just had 2 pitchers and plastic cups.

How cute and congratulations to her! Lemonade stands are great ways for kids to learn about “work” and “earning” money. Plus, it really shows them how important dollars are. She did excellent! I’m glad you mentioned Kool-Aid; my kids did Kool-Aid stands.

My sister and I had a Kool-Aid stand once, but ours was just a card table. That’s quite the rig your Princess has! She looks so cute–I would definitely have spent the fifty cents for a glass if I was driving by, and I don’t even like lemonade. LOL!

This picture made my smile. Wow she did really great $15.00 that is great. That stand is super cute too. I can’t remember if I ever did this when I was little.

That is so adorable! I wish I, or my daughter had had a chance to do this. But when you live in an apartment building, with no grass or anything out front, you can’t just set up on the sidewalk. But that little princess looks like she had a blasT1

That is the coolest lemonade stand ever. I’d buy some from her.

Good for her. I think that’s a great way for kids to develop that entrepreneurial spirit.
