If you hate ironing you have probably heard about, and maybe even used, wrinkle releasing sprays. Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus is more than just a wrinkle releaser, it can also eliminate static and odors from a variety of clothing, linens, even home décor.
Just last month Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus released a brand new scent called Fresh Linen which you can currently find in Target Stores.
If you have been reading my blog for the past few years you will already know that I love to clean and that includes doing my family’s laundry. With that said, there is one cleaning/laundry chore that I despise and that’s ironing. Yup, that’s right, I absolutely HATE to iron clothing!
If you are like me and hate to iron…well, it’s time to ditch that naughty thing! Now you can totally avoid ironing by using Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus! I did it and you can do it too! Matter of fact, I donated my old iron to charity and don’t even own one now! Yay!
Recently I was sent a package of the Downy Wrinkle Releaser Plus products to try out for all of you. I received the original scent and the new crisp linen scent (full-size) and three travel-size spray bottles. In my package was also a Downy t-shirt so that I could test out the product on it.
I removed the t-shirt and yup…it was wrinkled…lot’s of wrinkles and fold lines. The perfect cotton t-shirt to test out the Downy Wrinkle Releaser on. I place the tee on a hanger and lightly misted the front. I was really surprised at the pleasant fragrance of the crisp linen scent which smells like freshly laundered clothing. I then got busy gently tugging and smoothing out all of the wrinkles from the t-shirt. Once the front side was done, I lightly misted the back and repeated. The entire process took me less than 3 minutes flat!
So, how did the product do? Well, take a look for yourself! I’ve included before & after photos above. In a nutshell, this product is fantastic!!! 90% of all of the wrinkles and fold lines were gone. Furthermore, the tee smelled like it had been freshly laundered. The product can be used to remove wrinkles and if your garment or home decor item doesn’t have any wrinkles…just use the product to freshen them up with a fresh clean smell.
This product is fantastic! I walked all around my home lightly misting my toss pillows, throw rugs, window toppers, window curtains, fabric shower curtain and all sorts of other textiles that needed a little freshening up. Within minutes, all of those stinky odors that accumulate in our home’s textiles were gone. My house smells fresh & clean…room to room. Awesome!

I don’ t believe Imwould get rid of my iron, But I certainly like those products that make it in necessary to use an iron. I shall have to give This Downy wrinkle release a try.
The travel size would be so useful. We’ve all taken dressier clothes or packed things we wanted to look nice in only to look/feel like a wrinkled mess. This would be wonderful. Plus, I hate ironing so just having it on hand would be smart.

I remember ironing… I mostly try to buy clothing that doesn’t need it. Have yet to try this.
It’s been years since I ironed anything! I’ve been using Downy Wrinkle Relaxer since the first day it hit the stores (or at least around then, LOL). I’ve also added a couple of clothing steamers to the arsenal, and I’ve never looked back at that old ironing board. I haven’t tried the “Plus” formulation of DWR yet, but it’s just a matter of time.
I will have to try at least the travel size of the Downy Plus Wrinkle Release. I have the regular Wrinkle Release and tee shirts are the perfect item to use it on since they are usually cotton. I haven’t picked up an iron in a while, I’ll admit.

I love those travel sizes! We took 2 of them on vacation and used them constantly. Hubby keeps one in his desk drawer at work and I keep one in each bathroom. I keep the big bottles in my laundry room. I really love using it on my curtains and window toppers. I’ve even used it on my fabric shower curtain too.
