2 Skincare Items for Your Facial Spa Day

July 27, 2015 by Classystaff

We gals sometimes need a day where was can just sit and pamper our skin. Finding lovely items to spoil ourselves just got a bit easier! Last year, I was thrilled to try out some new products and introduce you to a company called Definitions Skincare. You can check out the review here. This month I have been trying out a few more items from their line up and I am excited to share them with you.

Definitions Skincare is a company that has dedicated their business to creating skin care products that improve your skins health and appearance through the latest advancements in science, often with results seen within the first applications. The Definitions products are free of parabens, synthetic fragrances, and dyes. You can find them at dermatology offices and top spas worldwide along with their website.

Definitions Skincare BHA Resurfacer

I was sent a few items to tryout and both of these are perfect to add to your spa day routine! First up is the Definitions BHA Resurfacer. This is kind of a different product than any I recall trying before. It is like a peel of sorts in that it removes dead skin cells but it is not as drying as a peel or as harsh as some scrubs can be, which is a plus.

Definitions BHA Resurfacer

The products is gelatinous and has a different scent to it – kinda woodsy. It felt weird applying it and it only stays on for 3 minutes but up to 7 minutes. Then you remove it with a warm washcloth. I applied it to my face, neck, and chest areas. After removing it, my face was not dry or tight feeling and it was definitely nicer looking from the dead cell removal. My skin just wanted moisture and after I applied the moisturizer, it felt nice and soft again.

Definitions Skincare Nutritive Mask

I also tried out the Definitions Nutritive Mask. This product works in treating and repairing damaged cells with bioactive lipids. It is loaded with lovely essential oils and moisture. This one stays on about 10 minutes then you remove it with a warm cloth as well. The mask is nice and thick but applied super easy. My skin drank it in and it left it feeling so touchable and soft. A definite treat for your face!

Pampering our skin is something we all need to do regardless of age. Products like these two can help our skin look better and feel better too. Not to mention the amazing texture and feel of your skin after treatments. Definitely check out their line up and schedule yourself a spa day at home. Your skin with thank you!

It looks like something I might want to try. (I have dry skin caused by diabetes.) I haven’t tried Definitions Skincare before, so it would be something new!
